Former BJP Spokesperson Arrested In Delhi

Latest reports happen coming in from the national capital of the country New Delhi where Ashwani Upadhyay and others involved in yesterday’s incident have been arrested. 

According to the Delhi Police it is handling the matter as per law and any communal disharmony will not be tolerated.

The Delhi Police have arrested five people including Ashwani Upadhyay and will be examining them in connection with inflammatory sloganeering near Jantar Mantar on Sunday.

Former BJP spokesperson have been arrested for his anti Muslim slogan rising.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
