Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Asks Citizens To Hoist National Flags At Their Homes

Latest reports have been coming in from Himachal Pradesh via Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister while speaking to you ANI has said that efforts are being made to initiate certain situations (in HP) on Aug 15. 

All people should hoist national flags at their homes on Independence Day. An audio recording announcing reward for stopping CM from hoisting national flag has been taken in account according to Himachal Pradesh CM. 

We have noted an increase in COVID cases in the last 10-12 days. Active cases have increased from 850 to over 1,900. This is a matter of concern. 

We will discuss this issue in Cabinet meeting tomorrow. Students and teachers according to Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
