Ex CM Amarinder Singh Would Fight Navjot Singh Sidhu Elevation As Punjab CM

Latest reports have been coming in from Punjab where an unrelenting Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday declared that he would fight Navjot Singh Sidhu’s elevation to Punjab chief ministership tooth and nail.

He was ready to make any sacrifice to save the country from such a dangerous man according to Office of Captain Amarinder Singh

The leader further added even as he reiterated his intention to counter any move to make Sidhu the state’s CM face, Capt Amarinder said he'll pit a strong candidate against him in 2022 Assembly polls to ensure his defeat. 

According to Capt Amarinder Singh Navjot Singh Sidhu is dangerous for the state said the ex-CM.

Capt disclosed he had offered his resignation to Sonia Gandhi 3 weeks earlier but she had asked him to continue. 

If she had called me and asked me to step down, I'd have,” he said, adding that “as a soldier, I know how to do my task and leave once called back" according to Office of Capt Singh.

According to the leader Priyanka and Rahul (Gandhi siblings) are like my children.  And this should not have ended like this. I am hurt.

He said the Gandhi children were quite inexperienced and their advisors were clearly misguiding them according to Office of Captain Amarinder Singh.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
