Highest Number Of Cases Have Been Reported From Kerala In The Country

Latest reports have been coming in from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare which has shared the latest data of covid-19 cases reported in last 24 hours in the country.

India has reported a total number of 45,352 new COVID cases have been reported in the last 24 hours in the country.

According to reports the highest number of cases are reported from Kerala.  Kerala recorded 32,097 cases and 188 deaths yesterday.

According to reports 34,791 recoveries and 366 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, as per Health Ministry.  The recovery rate is at 97.45%.

According to the sources the total active cases reported is at 3,99,778.  And the total recoveries till date is 3,20,63,616.  The death toll is at 4,39,895.

The total number of vaccination reported in the country is at 67,09,59,968.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
