Broom Business Flourishes Beyond Pre Covid-19 Numbers

Latest reports have been coming in from Siliguri, West Bengal where ANI has reported that there has been increased and a boom in broom business.

According to reports coming in when the lockdown has struck many businesses were closed and had suffered a major drawback in their business numbers.

Same I was also expect that from other businesses as well but the broom business on the other hand flourished and it's numbers increased.

According to sources broom business had been consistent even during pandemic peak.Barring first few days when the factory was shut,sales flourished, better than the festive season. 

With increased demand, sales consistency continues even today according to Manish, broom factory owner while speaking to ANI.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
