PM Takes Decision To Increase Scheme Of Free Food Till March 2022

Latest reports have been coming in from Prime Minister Narendra Modi office which has been shared by Union Minister Smriti Irani.

According to reports coming in Union Minister Smriti Irani while speaking in a CSR Conclave at IFCCI has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a decision to provide free ration till March 2022.  This game has been came into effect since the rise of covid-19 in the country.

According to Smriti Irani states that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken a decision to provide free food till March 2022.  

India has been the only country in the world which has been providing free food to 80 crore poor people in the country.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
