I Didn't Pull The Trigger: American Actor Alec Baldwin

Latest reports have been coming in from Washington, United States of America where from the sources of ANI which has reported that American actor Alec Baldwin has said that he 'didn't pull the trigger' on the firearm in the fatal shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

During an interview with abc News, Baldwin said he has 'no idea' how a live bullet got onto the set of his film 'Rust'.

"I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them, never," Baldwin was quoted as saying by abc News.

According to the actor "Someone has put a live bullet in a gun, a bullet that wasn't even supposed to be on the property," the American actor added.

Baldwin discharged a gun on the set of 'Rust' in New Mexico on October 21, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

Assistant director Dave Halls had told Baldwin that the gun was a "cold gun," meaning "not hot" or unloaded after armourer Hannah Gutierrez Reed had placed the gun on a cart on set.

Prop master Sarah Zachry also handled the gun before the fatal shooting, according to a search warrant executed by the Santa Fe Sheriff's Office.

Filming on 'Rust' has been halted and an investigation into the October 21 incident is ongoing.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
