Doctor Of Maryland University Confirms That Omicron Is Not A Guarantee Of Full Immunity

Latest reports have been coming in from US University of Maryland where Dr Faheem Younus has stated that people who got infected with Delta are now coming back with Omicron. 

Those who get Omicron will not have complete immunity against reinfections from future variants.

This has been shared by Dr Faheem Younus, Chief of Infectious Diseases at US' University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health.

According to the Doctor every time you get infected with any variant, you build up some immunity. It does give you a better chance to fight the virus in the future. 

So avoid infection if you can, but if you get the infection, your body is clearly not as naive added Dr Faheem Younus.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
