Out Of 2000, 66 Passengers Of Cordelia Cruise Ship Test Positive For Covid-19

Latest reports have been coming in from Goa where Goa Health Minister vishwajit Rane while speaking to media has shared that around 66 passengers of Cordelia cruise ship have tested positive for covid-19.

According to reports coming in out of 2000 samples tested from Cordelia crusie ship, 66 passengers tested positive for COVID19. 

The authorities will decide whether to allow disembarking of passengers from the ship according to the Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane.

Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane have also shared that four more Omicron cases confirmed in the state.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
