SC Directs Maharashtra Govt. And Election Commission To Ignore Caste Reservation For OBC In Election

Latest reports have been coming in from the highest authority of the law Supreme Court from the national capital of the country New Delhi.

According to the reports the minion the Supreme Court of India has directed Maharashtra government on the OBC quota which has been prevalent in the country.

According to the reports Supreme Court has directed Maharashtra government and State Election Commission not to act upon the interim report of Maharashtra State Backward Class Commission which recommended a grant of 27% OBC quota in local bodies election.

The Supreme Court has further directed Maharashtra government and state election commission to held local bodies elections to be carried out without OBC reservation. 

According to the sources after Supreme Court directions on the OBC quota, the Maharashtra government called a cabinet meeting at 1 pm to discuss the further steps of the ways to be implemented for smooth functioning of the Supreme Court order.
