1 Killed, 1 Injured In Shooting On San Francisco Train In US: Police

One person was killed and another was injured Wednesday morning following a shooting on the Muni train in the U.S. San Francisco, according to police.
San Francisco police responding to a shooting report at Muni Forest Hill station found that the train had already left, heading towards Castro station.

Police found two victims at the Castro police station. One was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, a police spokesman said.

The shooter fled the train at Castro station and was still at large, the San Francisco Police Department said.

The shooting did not just happen, one suspect and the victims were arguing before the shooting, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

"It is another reminder that as long as our country is still full of guns, shooting can happen anywhere, anytime," State Secretary Scott Wiener said in a statement. "California has strict gun safety laws in the country, and we continue to enforce them. But we need strong action from Congress to really improve the safety of our community."
