Maharashtra Political Crisis Live Update: Sena Mouthpiece Warns Against Rebel MLAs!

Sharad Pawar's Congress and NCP - a coalition with Shiv Sena in Maharashtra - have called for the resignation of rebel Eknath Shinde as a way out of a major political crisis that has engulfed the ruling coalition, sources said. Shiv Sena rebels have written to the Emperor declaring Eknath Shinde as their leader.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena in his speech "Saamana" described Mr Shinde as a "traitor". The rumor has it that MPs who were nominated for Shiv Sena tickets were "caught by the BJP".

The Maharashtra political crisis took another step Wednesday after Prime Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who has been tested for COVID-19, returned to "Matoshree" - the home of his family - from his official residence "Varsha".

The move comes shortly after Mr Thackeray made a touching statement on Facebook, "If my people do not want me as a Minister, they should come to me and say ... resign ... I am the son of Balasaheb, I do not follow the position ... If you want me to resign, let me wipe it off and take all my belongings to Matoshree ".
