178 Workers Fell Sick After Gas Leak In A Laboratory Company In Vishakhapatnam

Latest reports have been coming in from Andhra Pradesh where around 178 persons were affected by a gas leak from Porus Laboratories Private Limited in Visakhapatnam earlier today.

According to the reports coming in around 178 workers fell sick after a gas leaked from Porus laboratories Pvt Ltd company in Atchutapuram, Visakhapatnam. 

According to reports coming in from Andhra Pradesh where all 178 people affected due to gas leakage have been shifted to the hospital. 

However, the reasons behind the leakage are yet to be ascertained according to Lakshman Swami, District fire Officer.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
