Sadadha Scam Suspects BJP Leader Takes Money, Trinamool Seeks Action

TMC Secretary-General Kunal Ghosh on Friday demanded the arrest of West Bengal opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari who accused Sadadha of being a "mastermind" and Sudipto Sen said Adhikari.
"Sudipto Sen, who owns Saladha at the prisoner's request, said BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari had wronged him and taken money from him. We want the CBI to arrest Suvendu Adhikari immediately," Kunal Ghosh said.

According to Mr Ghosh, the "original founders" of the Sardis scam tried to evade the authorities and added that 'Suvendu Adhikari joined the BJP in self-defense.'

"There is a big conspiracy behind the Saladha scam. The first scam builders tried to hide it. Suvendu Adhikari has joined the BJP to protect himself," Mr Ghosh said.

Earlier, Kunal Ghosh demanded the arrest of Mukur Roy in the Saradha and Narada case while calling him a "BJP leader".

Quoting on Twitter, a TMC spokesman said, "The CBI and ED should arrest BJP leader Mukul Roy in the Saradha and Narada case. I have sent them a letter praying for a joint investigation with him. He is an influential composer. Mukul Roy should not be left out. "

A new line-up has emerged in the TMC with Mukur Roy, who left the BJP and joined the party in June last year following TMC's landslide victory in the West Bengal Assembly elections.

The Saradha group of companies allegedly defrauded people of about R2,500 crore, promising higher returns on their investment.
