Latest reports have been coming in Bollywood actor Shraddha Kapoor's brother, Siddhanth Kapoor, has been released on bail after being arrested on Monday while his health reports confirmed he had used drugs.
Four other detainees were also released on bail, according to police.
Siddhanth Kapoor and four others will have to appear before police again, "said Bheema Shankar Gulled, of the DCP East Bengaluru. Siddhanth Kapoor was arrested by Bengaluru police this morning for allegedly taking drugs at a party in the city on Sunday night. Bengaluru City Police (East) Deputy Commissioner of Police Bheemashankar S Guled said, "Siddhanth Kapoor appears to have taken drugs. We have arrested him and are following the procedure. We will send him to custody."
Interviewed ear, police raided the hotel in Kumg Road in the city on Sunday night where there was an event. "Last night we found out that there was a party going on and they were taking drugs. We raided and arrested 35 people. We did not find any drugs in their possession but found MDMA and the dog dumped nearby. We will investigate CCTV to find out. The drugs were sent for testing and the Siddhanth sample was among six people who were found to be in it.
"The hotel was notified, we asked some questions, they will answer. Bengaluru city police have declared a war on drugs and this was part of you. Earlier this month, we raided, where 34 people were found with drugs," added DCP East.
