Madhya Pradesh: Wrestler Rani Rana's Brother Serious After Attacked By Relatives In Gwalior Over Land Dispute

International wrestler Rani Rana's brother was attacked by his own uncle and cousins in Gwalior. The attack was over a piece of land. They first attacked with an ax, then shot at him. The bullet hit him in the chest. The incident occurred in Jakhara village of Hastinapur police station area. The injured have been admitted to the trauma center of JAH. Condition is critical.

Rani and her family live in Jakhara village. Late Tuesday evening, Rani's brother Digvijay Singh Rana, father Surendra Rana and mother were working on the farm. There is a dispute about this land with his uncle Bachchu Singh Rana, cousins Bunty, Shera, Ballu. The accused also reached the farm.

Bullet hit Rani's brother: The accused first asked them to vacate the land, but when Rani's brother Digvijay protested, they attacked him and his father Surendra with an ax. Meanwhile, one of the accused opened fire. The bullet hit Digvijay. The attackers then fled.

Wrestler said - they want to grab our land: Wrestler Rani Rana has alleged that the attackers are her own relatives. They had come only with the intention of killing the elder brother and father. The accused want to grab their land. That's why they are bothering us. The controversy has been going on for a long time. The accused already have a lot of land of their own, but their eyes are also on the father's land and they want to grab it by hooliganism, said Rani.

ASI Randeep Singh Sikarwar of Hastinapur police station said that he had received the information at 7 pm on Tuesday. The situation is normal now. Surendra Singh and Bacchu Singh are real brothers. There is a land dispute over piece of land. Three or four people opened fire. The whole family has licensed weapons.
