Wagles enjoy a Hari-Bhari Diwali, planted a sapling instead of lighting a cracker

Sony SABs Wagle Ki Duniya has left an everlasting mark on audiences as a relatable, slice of life show. It revolves around a typical family going about their daily lives, occasionally running into problems and working together to overcome them while sharing crucial life lessons through their acts.

The show is well known for bringing everyday issues to light and addressing them meaningfully. Staying true to their philosophy of living a conscious, happy, purposeful life, the cast of Wagle Ki Duniya celebrated Diwali on their sets with a twist.

This Diwali, the entire cast and crew celebrated with great pomp and splendor and the celebration of this delightful festival was quite unique and full of life...literally. Yep! That's right! The Wagles enjoyed a Hari-Bhari Diwali, where the cast of the show planted a sapling instead of lighting a cracker in an effort to keep the environment clean and green while inspiring others to do the same.

The fun evening was charged with the festive vibes and happy energy of the people gathered, with loads of candid conversations with the cast and good food to elevate the good mood. Present at the event were, Sumeet Raghavan, Pariva Pranati, Chinmayee Salvi, Sheehan Kapahi, Anjan Srivastav, Bharti Achrekaramong others from the show.

Sumeet Raghavan who plays Rajesh Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya delightfully comments, "I love the festive ambience that has been created here on set. This Diwali is pleasant because of the great company and also due to the idea of planting a sapling as a way of celebration. Everyone is free to celebrate Diwali the way they want. We at Wagle ki Duniya, have decided to celebrate Diwali by planting a sapling. A simple act like planting a small tree can have a longer-term impact on how we clean up our own mess and look after our environment. I wish all the viewers a jolly, clean, and green Diwali! Stay safe and healthy!’

Adding to this, Pariva Pranati who essays the role of Vandana Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya says, “Celebrating Diwali on the sets was a lot of fun and I loved the concept of planting a sapling as part of the celebration. It's good for the environment and much more fulfilling than bursting crackers. I hope that through this initiative, we can encourage people to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly manner as well. Wish you all a very happy and safe Diwali!”
