Gujarat Elections: Will Arvind Kejriwal be a challenge to Narendra Modi

Ahmedabad: Gujarat traditionally sees a direct fight between BJP and Congress, but this time Aam Aadmi Party is also in the fray with full preparation. In such a situation, there is a possibility of a triangular contest. The situation is that AAP convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has even claimed that his party will form the government.

In such a situation, the question arises that how much impact the Aam Aadmi Party will make in Gujarat. After Delhi and Punjab, will Arvind Kejriwal's magic work in Gujarat or not? Let's know.

AAP's strategy for Gujarat

The Aam Aadmi Party had started preparations long before the Gujarat Assembly election dates were announced. For the last four months, Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, along with Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, has been visiting Gujarat continuously. Kejriwal alone has held more than 15 meetings. AAP has claimed to communicate with people of all classes.

At many seats, Muslims were dominant, yet AAP did not field Muslim candidate

AAP first announced candidates for 73 assembly seats. Among them, the BJP holds 65 percent of the seats and the Congress holds 35 percent of the seats. There are about 12 such seats where the Muslim community will play decisive role. Even after this, Arvind Kejriwal has not made any Muslim candidate from these areas.

Kejriwal is experimenting

Actually AAP convener Kejriwal is experimenting. He knows that he cannot form the government by getting only the votes of the Muslims. Therefore, this time he has started an exercise to get the support of Hindu voters in the elections. The demand to put pictures of Shri Ganesh and Lakshmi ji on the notes is a part of this.

Achievements of Delhi and Punjab are being publicized

The Aam Aadmi Party has been busy campaigning in the last few months. Here the achievements of Delhi and Punjab's own governments are being publicized. However, Gujarati people do not just go on propaganda. Rather check the product as well.

In such a situation, right now the entire focus of the Aam Aadmi Party is on Surat and Patidar dominated areas. Party state president Gopal Italia himself has been associated with the Patidar movement. In such a situation, he is getting the support of the Patidar community. The number of Patidar voters in Gujarat is 15 to 17 percent.

AAP will cash in on farmers' displeasure

These days in Gujarat, cattle farmers and peasants are angry with the government. In such a situation, AAP is trying to win the support of these farmers. The government order is a big reason for the displeasure of the cattle farmers. The government said that if any animal is seen in urban areas, then legal action will be taken against the cattle owner.
