Betul Road Accident: 11 Die As Bus Collides Head On With Car in Madhya Pradesh


Betul (Madhya Pradesh): The news is from Betul in Madhya Pradesh. Where a horrific accident happened on Amravati State Highway. A passenger bus and Tavera car collided here late on Thursday at around 2am. 11 people in the car died in the accident. The dead included 6 men, 3 women and 2 children. All the bodies have been shifted to the primary health center in Jhallar. Where further action will be taken after postmortem.

11 people died on the spot

It is being told that the bus was coming towards Betul. While the car was coming from Paratwada side with the labourers. Meanwhile, about a kilometer away from Jhallar village, they collided head on. The collision was so severe that all the 11 people in the car died on the spot. With the help of people, the police took out 7 of the bodies. The remaining 4 bodies were removed by cutting the car.

After the accident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.

Jhallar police station TI Deepak Parashar told that the information about the accident was received from dial 100 at around 2.45 am. The car was coming towards Jhallar from Amravati district with laborers. At the same time, the bus was going from Khedi towards Gurgaon. 

There were 11 people on board the Tavera. Everyone was badly trapped. A one-and-a-half-year-old child and a 5-year-old girl were also among the dead. Eyewitnesses say that when they reached the spot, everyone had died. Earlier the bus and car were separated with the help of JCB. After this the body of the car was cut to take out the dead bodies.
