Indore: Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Sunday said the party leadership is considering a proper solution to the Rajasthan issue. He said the Congress needs both Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. He also said the Rajasthan CM should not have used certain words in his interview.
Ramesh said the party will not hesitate in taking tough decisions to strengthen the organisation in the state. He said during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Indore.
The power tussle between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former deputy Sachin Pilot is hurting the party’s prospects in the desert state.
Ramesh said, "The organisation in Rajasthan is most important for us and we will decide on a solution which will consolidate our organisation." He said if a compromise has to be made between the factions of Gehlot and Pilot, then it will be done.
Jairam Ramesh, however said he couldn’t fix any time frame for the solution and only the Congress leadership would decide the time frame for it.
Speaking on the Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra, Ramesh said like other states, it would also be successful in Rajasthan
