    T-20 World Cup 2022: England in Semifinal, Australia out

    Melbourne: England has made it to the semi-finals of the T-20 World Cup 2022. On Saturday, England defeated Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the Super-12 Group-1 match. Batting first after winning the toss, Sri Lanka scored 141 for 8 in 20 overs. In reply, England achieved the target in 19.4 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.

    With this, the defending champion Australia team is out of the tournament. If Sri Lanka's team had won this match, Australia would have reached the semi-finals, but this did not happen.
