Shimla: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel's stature in the party has increased due to the big victory in Himachal. Along with this, the Congress has also won the by-election in Bhanupratappur assembly seat of Kanker district in Chhattisgarh.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's political strategy is believed to be behind the victory in Himachal elections and Bhanupratappur by-election, which worked very well. All the claims and tactics of BJP failed in both the states.
Expressing confidence in Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel, the Congress high command made him the state observer for the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections. Soon after getting the responsibility of Himachal, Bhupesh Baghel also remained active during the entire election.
Bhupesh made not only the manifesto but also the election strategy

The results from Himachal Pradesh have acted as a booster for Bhupesh Baghel. Actually there were assembly elections in two states Gujarat and Himachal. There was BJP government in both the states. Returning to power in both the states was no less than a big challenge for Congress. The Congress had placed bets on the strong CMs of its two states, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Bhupesh Baghel was given the responsibility in Himachal and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot in Gujarat.
Magician's magic did not work in Gujarat
The Congress had made Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, who is called the magician of politics, the senior observer of Gujarat. On the other hand, the responsibility of Himachal was given to Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel. The Congress had faith in the specialty of both the CMs.

In fact, in both the states of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, the Congress had come to power by ousting the BJP. But a dispute had arisen regarding the two-and-a-half-year formula, since then there have been several confrontations between the two leaders. In such a situation, the victory of Himachal has increased the prestige of Bhupesh Baghel. It is believed that in 2023 Chhattisgarh assembly elections will also be fought on the face of Bhupesh Baghel.
