    Dimple Yadav Leads in Mainpuri Lok Sabha


    Lucknow: Along with Gujarat and Himachal, today i.e. on Thursday, the counting has started for the results of the by-elections held in 6 assembly and one Lok Sabha seat in 5 states. 

    Dimple Yadav is leading by 35 thousand votes in Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat of UP. Here BJP candidate Raghuraj Shakya is in front of her. A close fight can be seen between BJP and SP here.

    While Yadav has taken a lead of over 35,574 votes over her nearest rival Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Raghuraj Singh Shakya, the RLD's Madan Bhaiya is leading by over 1,387 votes in Khatauli over the BJP's Rajkumar Saini, the Election Commission website showed.

    Samajwadi Party candidate Asim Raja is leading from Rampur Sadar over the BJP's Akash Saxena by a margin of 3,224 votes.
