Churu: Congress has won the Sardarshahar by-poll. Congress candidate Anil Sharma has won from here with a huge margin. However, the counting of votes for the last phase is still going on. That's why the formal announcement of victory has not been made.
But the figure of Congress candidate Anil Sharma's lead is so huge that it is not only difficult but impossible for BJP rival to overcome in the last round. Therefore, the Congress camp has started celebrating the victory. After some time the Election Officer will hand over the certificate of victory to Anil Sharma. Sharma had maintained the lead from the opening round.
In almost the last rounds of counting, Sharma has taken a lead over his nearest rival Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Ashok Kumar Pincha by a margin of 43 thousand 696 votes. During this Mr. Pincha got 64 thousand 219 votes while Lalchand Mund of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party got 46 thousand 628 votes.
