India's Sargam Kaushal has won the title of Mrs. World 2022. In this competition held in Las Vegas, USA, she left behind the beauties of 63 countries. The country has got this title after 21 years.
Earlier in 2001, India's Aditi Govitrikar had won this title. Sargam Kaushal hails from Jammu and Kashmir. Sargam herself has been a teacher and has done her PG in Literature. Her husband is in the Indian Navy.
She got married in 2018. After her husband's encouragement, she decided to participate in beauty pageants. In 2022, she won the Mrs. India title.
Aditi Govitrikar posted a special message
Former Mrs. World Aditi Govitrikar also posted a special message congratulating Sargam Kaushal on the win. In her post for Sargam Kaushal, actress Aditi Govitrikar wrote, "Congratulations Sargam, I am so happy to be a part of this journey. After 21 years, the crown is back home again."
Indian stars were on the jury panel
Many famous Bollywood stars also participated in this international competition as judges. The jury panel included Bollywood actresses Soha Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, famous designer Moushumi Mewawala and former Mrs. World Aditi Govitrikar.
