No confidence Motion: What Issues Congress Will Raise In Planned No Confidence Motion Against Shivraj Government in Madhya Pradesh


Bhopal: Assembly elections are to be held in Madhya Pradesh after one year in November 2023. In such a situation, both the ruling party and the opposition have started the election preparations. Election strategy is being prepared. 

Meanwhile, the winter session of the Vidhan Sabha is going to start from 19th December. In this session, the Congress has decided to bring a no-confidence motion against the Shivraj government. At the same time, the BJP government has intensified discussions with the officials to rerply to the allegations of the opposition and deal with them in the House.

Shivraj engaged in brainstorming with officials

The Congress has made preparations to corner the government on many issues like corruption, inflation, shortage of fertilizers in the state. Leader of Opposition Dr. Govind Singh alleges that every section is troubled by the policies of the government in Madhya Pradesh. 

Singh said the government is also ignoring the demands of the employees. According to Dr. Govind Singh, the government has failed on every front. There are not one but many cases against it. From irregularities in construction works to injustice being done to the employees as well. The OBC class has not yet got 27 per cent reservation. The incidents of atrocities on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes have increased.

There will be churning in the Congress Legislature Party meeting

Kamal Nath has called a meeting of the Legislature Party on December 18, a day before the assembly session. In which the issues of no-confidence motion will be discussed. Which will be strongly placed in the House on December 19. This meeting will be held at the residence of State Congress President Kamal Nath in the presence of Congress Steering Committee member Digvijaya Singh.

Congress can surround the government on these issues

The Congress was preparing for a long time regarding the no-confidence motion against the Shivraj government. The issues were being discussed. In this, cases of corruption will be kept prominently. The major issues the Congress is expected to raise are nutrition scam, irregularities in the construction of Karam Dam, irregularities in Professional Examination Board's teacher and police constable recruitment examinations, farmer loan waiver, MP-PSC exams not being held, OBC not being given the benefit of 27 percent reservation, and not giving permission for prosecution against officals with cases regisytered againat them by Lokayukta and EOW.

BJP Legislature Party meeting on Sunday

The winter session of the Legislative Assembly will start from Monday, December 19. A meeting of the BJP Legislature Party has been called before the winter session. In which a strategy will be chalked out to weaken the no-confidence motion of the Congress.

Minister Sarang's challenge to the leader of the opposition

Meanwhile, Medical Education Minister in the Shivraj government, Vishwas Sarang challenged the Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Govind Singh, to first pass the vote of confidence in his Congress Legislature Party. He said it should be seen whether the Congress Legislature Party considers Dr. Singh as their leader. Minister Sarang said that if you are bringing a no-confidence motion against the government, then you will also have to give an account of the 15 months when you were in the government in Madhya Pradesh.
