Indore: Indore residents have got a golden opportunity to earn extra income by converting their home into home-stays. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is starting a special campaign for home-stay registration from January 3 to 7, 2023. The applications of the local residents of Indore will be registered on fast track mode. Tourists along with guests arriving in Indore for Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan and Global Investor Summit (GIS) will also get accommodation facility from Home-Stay.
Earn extra income by making your home a home-stay
Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director MP Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla told, 'A special campaign for registration of home-stays is being run to
provide clean and affordable places for NRIs coming to Indore and to provide employment
opportunities at the local level. The NRIs and foreign delegates will get a chance to experience our rich culture, traditions and food etc. Three representatives of the Tourism Board will be present in Indore from January 3 to 7 and ensure the registration process on a fast track level.
Tourism department will promote home-stay
The registered units will be promoted by the tourism department. Financial incentives are also provided for completing guest accommodation, boosting the facilities available in the unit. Besides, the the tourism department will provide technical assistance to the units for digital marketing, pricing, promotion, capacity enhancement of human resources working in the unit, participation in national and international level travel marts and workshops.
