Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra: Will It Change Rahul's Image And Benefit Congress

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, which started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7, 2022, has so far covered 10 states. After a week's break, the yatra will resume from January 3 and will reach Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir in the next phase. During this, Rahul Gandhi strongly demonstrated his vitality, ability to struggle and his ability to connect with the public.

Rahul connecting directly with public

There is still a year and a half left for the Lok Sabha elections, but the Congress party is enthused by Rahul's historic yatra. Like Modi, Rahul Gandhi has now started connecting directly with the public. By showing the dream of selling 'Made in Faridabad' products at Shanghai China's shops, Rahul Gandhi has given the message about his intentions in the coming elections.

Political analysts believe that there is still time for the elections, but Rahul Gandhi is continuously heating up the political atmosphere through Bharat Jodo Yatra. The manner in which Rahul Gandhi interacted with the public after reaching Delhi has become a topic of discussion in political circles.

Political pundits say that the way Rahul Gandhi is openly talking about foreign policy, employment and Hindu-Muslim politics while attacking the ruling party during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, it is a sign of preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Rahul destroyed his Pappu image

Political analysts say that Rahul Gandhi, while referring to India's foreign policy in a dialogue program of Bharat Jodo Yatra, said that when you see Made in Faridabad clothes at a Shanghai shop, you will truly feel the power of India. Rahul Gandhi is not only trying to make a connection with the local people by such dialogues, but is preparing to move forward while communicating with the public.

During this 110-day visit, Rahul has destroyed the image created by the opposition in which he has been called Pappu and Rajkumar. However, Rahul Gandhi has been maintaining that the yatra is not for any political or personal gain, but against the politics of hatred, fear and violence.

Saw the condition of unemployed youths in 100 days of yatra

A senior leader associated with the Congress party says that during his Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi is not only moving ahead with the issues of the people from the very first day but is also directly communicating with the people. Rahul Gandhi mentioned from the Red Fort that he saw unemployed engineers during his 100-day visit.

Rahul said the disappointment of educated people not getting jobs could also be seen on the faces of their family members.

Rahul, who gave the message of love in his political journey, also gave preference to political opponents and tried to spread the message of love in the country by reaching Atal ji's tomb.

Senior leaders associated with the Congress say that love and mohabbat are such issues through which you can directly connect with maximum number of people in the country. They say that this is the reason why Rahul Gandhi is continuously talking about eradicating hatred and increasing love in all his meetings. On the other hand, the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party say that it is a political yatra.

Will crowds in yatra translate in votes for Cong?

But it remains to be seen if the crowds of people in the yatra will translate into votes for the party. The Congress' performance in Delhi MCD and Gujarat was very poor and the results do prove that the yatra did not make much difference for the party. The party's performance in Gujarat was miserable where it bagged only 17 seats.

In addition to Lok Sabha polls 2024, the Congress is also focusing on elections in 10 states including MP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Telengana and Tripura.
