RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's Kidney Transplant Successful In Singapore

Singapore: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's kidney transplant was successful on Monday in a hospital in Singapore. This operation went on for 1 hour. His daughter Rohini has donated a kidney to Lalu. Rohini was operated before Lalu. Currently both are in ICU.

Before the operation, Rohini tweeted a photo with Lalu. Wrote- Ready to rock and roll. This is enough for me, your well being is my life.

The process of kidney transplant of RJD supremo started from 3 December. The blood group of both Rohini and Lalu is AB positive. Lalu is undergoing surgery at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
