New Delhi: There has been a fire incident in Delhi. A fire broke out at the Senior Citizen Care Home located in E Block of Greater Kailash-2, Delhi. Two people have been reported dead due to the fire. It is being told that the fire brigade personnel have brought the fire under control after a lot of effort.
According to the fire department, a call about the fire was received at 5.14 am. Fire brigade personnel have brought the fire under control after reaching the spot. Four vehicles of the fire department have brought the fire under control. Police and fire department have rescued 13 people.
According to the fire department, the third floor of Antara, a hospital cum old age home located in south Delhi's Greater Kailash 2, was engulfed in flames. Five fire engines were rushed to the spot to put out the blaze.
Two women, aged 82 and 92, died of burn injuries while 13 others were rescued. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
