Bhopal: The five-day Gandhi Sagar Floating Festival will be organized from February 1, 2023, to offer a unique adventure activities experience to tourists visiting Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
Will have land, air and water-based adventure activities
Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director MP Tourism Board Sheo Shekhar Shukla highlighted that this is a unique and first of its kind floating festival which will have land, air and water-based adventure activities.
Tent city for tourists will continue for 3 months
The festival will be organized for 5 days till 5th February. After that, the tent city for tourists will continue for 3 months and adventure activities will continue for 6 months.
Gandhi Sagar Floating Festival is a great festival for nature lovers and adventurers, taking them away from the hustle and bustle of the city to the natural surroundings.
Enjoy floating stage, floating market, boat spa, boat safari and much more
The floating festival will have a floating stage, floating market, boat spa, boat safari, live music and much more. Apart from this, many exciting adventure activities will be organized near Gandhi Sagar reservoir.

Gandhi Sagar Floating Festival is an initial 10-year initiative to promote the tourism sector of Madhya Pradesh and generate new employment opportunities. With this project, MP Tourism Board aims to attract both national and international tourists, thereby making them a part of Madhya Pradesh. The state government is exploring many destinations within the state which have the potential to develop into successful tourist destinations.
