Uttar Pradesh: Is BJP's Mission 80 Practically Possible, Why Party Leaders Are Confident?

Lucknow: The BJP aims to win all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The party has named it 'Mission 80'. Does the BJP have the capability to achieve this goal or is it just an attempt to enthuse its workers?

BJP won 73 seats in 2014, 62 in 2019

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 73 of the 80 seats in UP (along with two seats of its ally Apna Dal S). BJP got 42.63 percent votes. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP got success in 62 seats. There was definitely some reduction in number of seats, but its vote percentage increased to 49.98 percent.

BJP won all LS seats in many states

In the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there have been dozens of states where the BJP had won all the seats. These include states like Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Based on its ever-increasing popularity in UP, the BJP estimates that if it is able to take its vote share to above 51 percent, it can win all the seats in UP as well. But it is not easy to achieve this target in a vast state like Uttar Pradesh.

BJP confident after winning Rampur LS by-poll

The party has gained maximum confidence after winning the Rampur Lok Sabha by-poll. The SP lost its traditional seat after its leader Azam Khan was disqualified. Surprisingly, BJP's Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi won this Muslim-dominated seat.

Prior to this, BJP has also done the charisma of winning the Muslim majority seats in western Uttar Pradesh. This is the reason why BJP, which has won in Rampur, feels that it can win all the seats in UP.

Modi's mantra to connect with Muslims

PM Narendra Modi's mantra to connect with Muslims in the national executive of Hyderabad and Delhi, can be seen by linking it with the possibility of this mission. If a section of Pasmanda Muslims join hands with the BJP, then its plan may become easier. BJP is engaged in this effort.

Modi, Yogi are BJP's trump cards

At present, the BJP has two big trump cards to win in the form of PM Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath. Apart from this, due to the achievements of the Central and UP government, BJP also feels that its popularity is increasing continuously.

Central-UP governments are constantly trying to increase their social circle by associating all religions and castes with them. The way BJP's success graph is rising, it can be assumed that its efforts are yielding results.

Ram temple in Ayodhya will also be ready

Before the Lok Sabha elections, the Ram temple in Ayodhya will also be ready in the month of January itself and common people will be able to visit Ramlala in Ayodhya. BJP leaders also hope that it can get the benefit of the popularity of temple construction. If there is special enthusiasm among the public about the Ram temple, then the BJP can succeed in achieving its impossible goal.

BJP's national spokesperson Prem Shukla said that his party does not do any work with the aim of getting votes in elections. For BJP, the power is a medium to serve the public and do social service.

Prem Shukla said that BJP works for all sections of the society, naturally every section is supporting BJP and its leaders.
