Chhattisgarh Budget 2023: Unempoyment Allownace; Hike In Honorarium Of Anganwadi Workers; These Are Other Big Announcements

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has presented the last budget of the present government. There has been no new tax or hike in tax for the people of Chhattisgarh. 

For the last 40 days, Anganwadi workers have been agitating at Budha Talab. School Cooks Association has also opened its front regarding its demands. CM Bhupesh Baghel has hiked the honorarium of both of them in his last budget.

Light Metro from Nava Raipur to Durg

Light Metro service will be started from Nava Raipur to Durg. The amount of many schemes, honorarium has been increased. 

Unemployment allowance

Most importantly, it has been announced to give unemployment allowance of Rs 2.5 thousand per month to the educated youth of the state for two years, although some rules and conditions have also been made in this. This time the budget was 1 lakh 21 thousand 500 crores, which is the biggest budget ever.

Chief Minister Bhupesh said, we have raised the prestige of Chhattisgarh. Youth of families whose annual income is less than 2.5 lakhs will be given unemployment allowance of Rs 2.5 thousand for two years. Terms and conditions have been made for getting unemployment allowance, which have not been clarified at the moment. 

Destitute pension, honorarium of Anganwadi workers, Sahayika hiked

The amount of destitute pension will be increased from Rs.350 to Rs.500. Monthly honorarium of Anganwadi workers has been increased from 6.5 thousand to 10 thousand. The honorarium of the Sahayika has been increased from Rs 3.5 to Rs 5 thousand.

Honorarium of village Patels increased to Rs 3000

Honorarium of home guards was also increased.
Destitute pension amount has been increased from Rs 300 to Rs 500.
Honorarium of cooks in schools has been increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 1800
Under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, the assistance amount has been increased from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000.
Industrial parks will also be built in cities on the lines of industrial parks in rural areas
Provision for establishment of 23 new colleges
State Research Fellowship Scheme will be started
Rs 2 crores for Aerocity, near Nava Raipur Airport
100 crores for 36 government ITI institutes
Mukhyamantri Dharohar Darshan Yojana will be started. Under the scheme, students will be taken to the state protected heritage sites
400 crores for the development of primary and higher education
500 crore provision for roads
