Bhopal: Terming the 1947 partition of India as "artificial", Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat today said that we cannot forget "Sindhu" and "Sindh Pradesh".
Bhagwat addressed a grand function in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday organized by the Bharatiya Sindhu Sabha, which was attended by men and women of the Sindhi community from different parts of the country. In this function organized on the birth centenary year of Amar Shaheed Hemu Kalani, Bhagwat said that due to artificial division, people of Sindhi community left “India” and came to “India”. Bhagwat said Sindhis left Pakistan, which was in fact India. After leaving Pakistan (which in reality was only India) they came to India.
Bhagwat said this pain is still in everyone's mind. Sindhis came here leaving their land and everything. Everything is still there in the memories of the generation of that time. But it is the responsibility of the old generation to make the new generation aware of this fact. The new generation of Sindhi community is born here so they do not know everything.
Sindhi Culture Museum will be set up in MP: Shivraj
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that Sindhi Culture Museum will be set up in the state. He said that in the text book of Madhya Pradesh there will be lessons on Sindhi great personalities. Biographies of Samrat Dahir Sen, Hemu Kalani will be included in the syllabus.
People of Sindhi community arrived from all over the country as well as from abroad to participate in the program organized at BHEL Dussehra ground. During this, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat and CM Shivraj also visited the exhibition organized here.
Body cannot remain divided for long: Bhagwat
Referring to the partition of the country, Mohan Bhagwat said that the body has been divided, but the body cannot remain divided for long. Now even the people of Pakistan say that a "mistake" has been made. But we do not say here that India should attack, because our culture and identity is not of an aggressor.
India will become "Vishwa Guru" and "Akhand Bharat" will be made again
But India will become "Vishwa Guru". And "Akhand Bharat" will be made again. Bhagwat said that he did not know how all this would happen, but it would definitely happen.
Bhagwat said that Sindhu is only Hindu. We have to beware of all conspirators. And always be ready to get your true "self".
Mentioning martyr Hemu Kalani and other revolutionaries, he said that they too had put their lives at stake to attain the freedom. All this exercise was not just to drive away the British from the country but to restore our cultural values. We have to work to establish a system according to our culture.
On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made several announcements regarding the demands of the Sindhi community.. Bhagwat and Chouhan honored various personalities of Sindhi society at the function.
