Madhya Pradesh Budget 2023: Special Focus On Welfare Of Women

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Jagdish Deora presented the annual budget for the financial year 2023-24 in the Vidhan Sabha today, in which special focus has been laid on the all-round development of women and girls.

At the same time, the members of the main opposition party Congress raised the issue of increase in the prices of cooking gas as soon as the budget speech started.

All the members kept speaking together for a long time and after some time they all walked out of the proceedings of the House. Congress members kept shouting slogans even after coming outside the house.

On the other hand, the Finance Minister continued with his budget speech. Deora expressed happiness over the holding of G20 group meetings in Madhya Pradesh and said that the country is continuously moving ahead under the leadership of the Prime Minister and MP is also ensuring its contribution in the development of the country.

Provision of Rs 8000 crore for Ladli Bahna Yojana

When Deora mentioned the state's famous Mukhya Mantri Ladli Bahna Yojana in his speech, the members of the ruling party BJP expressed their happiness by thumping the table. The Finance Minister said that under this scheme, one thousand rupees per month will be transferred to the bank account of eligible women. For this, a provision of eight thousand crore rupees has been made in the budget.

The Finance Minister mentioned various schemes related to the welfare of women and girls and told about their budget provisions. Deora said that a provision of more than one lakh crore rupees has been made in the budget for various ongoing and new schemes related to the welfare of women and girls.

He also told about the budget provisions of other schemes in the budget speech.
