Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: BJP Relying On Tradition Of Changing Govt Every 5 Years; Big Changes In Core Committee Likely Before Polls

Jaipur: Rajasthan is one of those states where the tradition of changing changing governments election has been going on. In such a situation, the BJP sitting in the opposition is seeing possibilities for itself in this desert state. Therefore the party organization is being streamlined before the elections. Changes can soon be seen in the core committee which takes the most important decision in Rajasthan. BJP organization is being strengthened before elections.

New members will join core committee

After the Rajasthan BJP state president and the leader of the legislative party were changed, there is bound to be a change in the core committee. Sources associated with the party reveal that Gulab Chand Kataria, as the leader of the opposition, was a member of this committee. He has been appointed as the Governor of Assam. After the appointment to the constitutional post, Kataria has automatically ceased to be a member of this committee.

In such a situation, a new member will be appointed in his place. On the other hand, BJP's new state president CP Joshi is already working as a member of the committee. Now the meeting of the committee will be held under his chairmanship.

Organization will decide whether Poonia will stay or leave

Former state president Satish Poonia was a member of the core committee as state president. Now whether he will remain in it or not it is for the party to decide. It is believed that as the former state president, his place in the committee can be retained. If this happens then who will become the new leader of the opposition. The appointment of new members in the committee will depend on this.

If there is a reshuffle in Union Cabinet, it will have an impact

If there is any kind of reshuffle in the Modi government at the Center in the coming time, then its effect can be seen in the core committee as well. At present, three MPs from Rajasthan are ministers at the Centre.

Being Union ministers, all three have been included in the committee. In case of reshuffle of the Union Cabinet, if the number of ministers from Rajasthan increases or decreases, it will also affect the committee.

Presently these leaders are members of the core committee

At present the members of the committee are: Vasundhara Raje, Satish Poonia, Om Prakash Mathur, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, CP Joshi, Chandrashekhar, Rajendra Rathod, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Kailash Chowdhary, Kanak Mal Katara and Rajendra Gehlot. . State in-charge Arun Singh, Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, Alka Singh Gurjar and Vijaya Rahatkar are among the special invitees of this committee.
