Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's Advisor Exposed Education Dept, Said - Why Schools, Colleges Were Opened When There Are No Teachers?

Jaipur: The advisor of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has exposed the education system of the state. He was speaking on the demands for budget grants of the education department in the state assembly.

Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan at the end of the year. In such a situation, the opposition can put the government in the dock on the issue of education.

Babulal Nagar, an independent MLA from Dudu assembly constituency, is the advisor to the CM. He has put the government in the dock regarding the vacant posts of teachers in schools and colleges.

On the other hand, Education Minister Dr. BD Kalla assured in the House that teachers would be appointed soon. About 90 thousand teachers are to be recruited in the state.

Debate on budget grant demand of Education Dept

In fact, during the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha, the discussion on the demands for budget grants continued till late evening on Wednesday. MLA Babulal Nagar kept his point during the debate on the demands for grants of the Education Department and said in the House that school and college teachers are not posted in his area. The posts of professors are lying vacant in the colleges located in his constituency.

Teachers posted on deputation in directorate instead of teaching

Not only this, MLA Nagar said that on the one hand there is no one to teach in the colleges and on the other hand the teachers who were teaching have been posted on deputation to the directorate. When the teachers have to be kept in the directorate, then the colleges in their area should be closed.

At the same time, Nagar also said that what happens in this directorate is beyond his understanding. The MLA said that there is no teacher in the colleges of his area.

Nagar said in such a situation, there is no point in opening a college here. The colleges should be closed. He said the deputation should be canceled and the teacher should be posted in the college of his area.

90 thousand vacant posts will be filled soon

The government is taking every issue seriously regarding the assembly elections to be held this year. Seeing the displeasure of the MLAs during the grant demands of his department in the House, Education Minister BD Kalla said that his department is soon going to fill all the vacant posts. About 90 thousand posts of teachers are being recruited in different categories. Kalla said that the Chief Minister has also announced the recruitment of one lakh posts in the budget.
