Vyapam Scam Whistle Blower Dr Anand Rai Will Be Seen In Election Field After Losing Govt Job, Congress May Give Ticket

Bhopal: Dr. Anand Rai, who was the whistle blower of the famous Vyapam recruitment scam in Madhya Pradesh, has now made up his mind to contest the elections.

In fact, the government has sacked him from the state health service on charges of spreading misinformation against CM Shivraj. In such a situation, Dr. Anand Rai sarcastically said that the government has honored him in a way for exposing Vyapam scam and other such corruption.

He said he was working to make the tribals aware of their rights, but the BJP-led state government was not able to digest his work. Now he will contest elections.

The government issued dismissal order on Monday. Dr. Anand Rai was posted at Hukumchand Government Hospital, Indore. He announced to contest election after the order of dismissal was issued.

A notice issued by the state Health Department stated that Dr Rai was dismissed for not complying with official orders, being regularly absent from duty, and also portraying a bad image of the state government's welfare schemes.

The notification said that he has been dismissed under the provisions of the MP Civil Services Act.

Rai was accused of making comments on social media, which dented govt's image

He was also accused of making comments on social media, which dented the image of government welfare schemes, said the notification.

Rai had been courting controversy with his statements against the state government. In the latest incident last week, he posted a message on his social media account mentioning that ex-BJP MLA Ranjna Baghel will support JAYS in the next assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

However, after Baghel objected to his claim and warned of lodging an FIR against him, he had apologized for his comment.
