Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: Will Vasundhara Raje Be made Chairperson of Election Campaigning Committee?

JAIPUR: Before the assembly elections in Rajasthan, BJP high command has started vigorous efforts to end the ongoing tussle in the Rajasthan unit. After making CP Joshi the party’s State President, the party has indicated this by making Rajendra Rathore the Leader of the Opposition and Satish Poonia as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition.

Central leadership wants to rope in Raje in elections

The central leadership wants the advantage of Vasundhara Raje in the elections. State in-charge Arun Singh met Vasundhara Raje at her home. Election-related committees are to be formed in the coming days. Central leadership wants to give important responsibility to Raje before elections. Groupism can be ended by giving responsibility to Raje.

Election campaigning committees are important

In the coming days, BJP is going to form many committees for the elections. Most important among them is the Election Campaigning Committee, and Vasundhara Raje could be made its chairperson.

Actually BJP high command wants to give new and important responsibility to Raje before assembly elections. So that factionalism can be ended. Regarding this, the state in-charge Arun Singh has stepped up efforts on behalf of the party's central leadership.

It is impossible to gain power in Rajasthan without Raje

In fact, the party knows that it is impossible to win elections in Rajasthan without Vasundhara Raje. If Raje fails at the time of elections, then there is a possibility of a storm of discontent rising like a sandstorm and the plans of BJP can suffer serious setback. 

Major decision can be taken regarding Vasundhara in this month

BJP high command does not want Raje to emerge as a new problem for the organisation. Therefore, it is believed that considering the political status of Vasundhara, the party can make her the chairperson of the election campaigning committee. If party leaders are to be believed, a major decision can be taken regarding Vasundhara Raje in this month itself.

Kirodi Lal Meena can be made a minister in Centre

There is a possibility of a meeting with the BJP central leadership after the Parliament session is over. The party high command does not want Vasundhara Raje to remain disgruntled. For this, she will be kept fully active in the elections. At the same time, Rajya Sabha member Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena can also be given a new role.

It is discussed that BJP may induct Kirodi Lal in the Union Cabinet to garner Dalit votes. Rajasthan BJP state in-charge Arun Singh had reached Vasundhara Raje's house a day earlier after a series of meetings at the state BJP headquarters. Many issues were discussed there. 

With regard to this meeting between Arun Singh and Vasundhara Raje, the possibilities have increased that Raje may be given the responsibility of election campaign committee or some other important post.
