Ladli Laxmi Utsav Celebrated In Madhya Pradesh; CM Shivraj gives tagline ‘Haan Main Bhi Ladli Hoon’

  


Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave the tagline “Haan Main Bhi Ladli Hoon” to the Ladli Laxmis of the state and said that the Ladli Laxmis should get admission in medical, IIT, IIM, law institutes and other prestigious educational institutions. Their fees will be paid by the state government. 

 


CM Chouhan was addressing the state level Ladli Laxmi Utsav focused on respect, guidance and dialogue for daughters at the CM’s residence premises on Ladli Laxmi Day. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, MP Pragya Singh Thakur, MLA Krishna Gaur, Mayor Malti Rai along with a large number of beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi scheme and their guardians were present.

 

For Ladli Laxmis, a special campaign will be launched in the city and panchayats in the state from May 9 to 15.  The various programmes to be organised on the occasion include sports competitions on May 9, prize distribution to Ladli Laxmi friendly panchayats on May 10, programme on financial and digital literacy on May 11, health check-up, dance and song competition on May 12, visit to government offices including police station on May 13, campaign for e-KYC and painting competition on May 14 and visit to regional tourist places and other places of interest on May 15.

Ladli Laxmi Utsav presided over by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was conducted by class 10th girls Srishti Malviya and Rimjhim Tripathi.

Moderator Ladli Laxmi girls recited self-composed poem in honour of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, “Mama Ko Dekhte Hi Chehre Par Hansi Aa Jati Hai – Yadi Udas Bhi Ho Man To Khushi Khil Jati Hai” and “Badi Pyari Lagti Hai Tere Chehre Ki Muskan- Pyari Bahanjia Hain, Mama Ki Jaan-Mama Ki Jaan.”

Avani Deshmukh, daughter of class 12th, in her welcome address said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana has boosted the confidence of girls and they feel proud of themselves due to the various arrangements made by the state government.

 


Madhya Pradesh gaan and Ladli gaan - 'Chhuna Hai Hume Aasmaan' was presented by the girls of Jawahar Bal Bhavan in the programme. Girls Vaishnavi, Rishika, Kiran and Suhani presented group Ghoomar dance.

The impact of Ladli Laxmi Yojana on the society and the changed attitude towards the daughter was beautifully presented in the dance-drama presented by Nadayog Gurukul Dal, Indore.

In martial arts, the girls presented the tricks of self-defence, being careful and alert from anti-social elements and the methods of saving oneself.
