Bhopal: The Bhopal administration on Monday demolished the illegal constructions of the three accused who were seen in a viral video tying a leash around a man's neck and asking him to bark like a dog in order to humiliate him.
A troubling video surfaced on social media in the Madhya Pradesh capital in which some youths can be seen humiliating a man by putting a leash around his neck and asking him to act like a dog. They were also asking him to "bark like a dog."
The incident took place under Teela Jamalpura police station limits in Bhopal city. This video has been made on June 9 in Tilajamalpura itself. But the video of the incident went viral on social media on Monday.
The victim had reached the police station after the incident and lodged a complaint. But, the police allegedly did not take any action. After this, the complainant had complained in the CM helpline.
Narottam Mishra ordered Police Commissioner to take action
On Monday, Home Minister Narottam Mishra ordered Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari to take action. Hindu organizations protested outside the police station since morning itself. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, DCP Riyaz Iqbal, ADCP Rajesh Bhadoria, ACP Umesh Tiwari reached the spot.
The station in-charge has been line attached for not taking action in the matter. At the same time, the police arrested three accused and took NSA action against them. All the three accused have been produced in the court and sent to jail on judicial remand till July 4.

On the other hand, the administration took action to remove the illegal possession of the accused. The illegal occupations of all the three accused were razed in one day. During this, the family members started an uproar. Some women clashed with the Bhopal Municipal Corporation's team.
According to information, history-sheeter Sameer alias Bacha, 26, son of Salim, lives near Hari Mazar located in Tila Jamalpura. He picked up a youth named Vijay with the help of his accomplices Bilal, Faizan, Sahil and Mufid.
A dog belt and rope were tied around Vijay's neck. He was asked to bark. He was forced to walk like a dog on his knees and hands.The complainant Vijay is a resident of Indra Vihar Colony Panchavati Colony. He works as photographer. This video has been made on June 9 in Tilajamalpura itself.
Mother, sister of one accused hanged them
When the police, administration and encroachment team reached to remove the illegal encroachments of the accused, the relatives started a ruckus. Meanwhile, the mother and sister of one of the accused hanged themselves by making a noose of their scarf. By the time the relatives removed the noose from her neck, she had fainted.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Police Riyaz Iqbal also said, "An FIR has been registered against six accused in the matter. The police have taken three accused into custody so far and NSA is also being invoked against them. Illegal assets of the accused are also being identified and action will be taken against them along with the Municipal Corporation."
