Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel told the students of Mansarovar Global University to keep striving continuously to acquire knowledge in future life. The Governor asked the students not to forget the sacrifice of their parents and teachers for the success in their future life. He said that the one who follows the convocation oath for 365 days will never lag behind in life. Governor Patel was addressing the convocation and graduation day function of Mansarovar University at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Centre in Bhopal.
Honorary degrees awarded to eminent personalities
Oncologist Suresh H. Advani, eminent folk singer Smt. Malini Awasthi, actor Piyush Mishra, playback singer Sushri Kavita Seth, founder of Jiva Ayurveda Pratap Singh Chauhan, magician Anand Awasthi, young lyricist Aman Akshar, drone technology expert Nikhil and playback singer Shraddha Pandit were given honorary degrees and 200 students were awarded completion certificates and degrees.
The Governor said that it is the responsibility of the educated students to spread the fragrance of their abilities and values in the whole world. He said that it is said in Rigveda that wise people make even the ignorant people wise. By acquiring and using knowledge in this spirit, great people attained heights that would be remembered for a long time on this earth.
Governor Mangubhai Patel said we see that today only those counties are the most successful which possess the amazing power of knowledge. Mahatma Buddha has also described education as the most powerful weapon.
Governor said the University should support the health and education related efforts of the underprivileged sections of the society and the underprivileged, poor families living near the campus. Students should be connected with social concerns.
In the beginning, the Chancellor of the University Manjula Tiwari welcomed the Governor by presenting a bouquet. A replica of the Ram temple under construction in Ayodhya was presented as a memento.
Become a job provider through start-ups
Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Bharat Sharan Singh said in the convocation address that there is an opportunity for the students to resolve to face the challenges of life while coming out of the protected environment of the university.
She said instead of standing in job queues, be a partner in building a self-reliant India by becoming a job provider through start-ups. The Pro-Chancellor of the University, Engineer Gaurav Tiwari told the outline of the programme and remembered the founder of the University, Brahmalin Kamalkant Tiwari. Vice-Chancellor Arun Kumar Pandey presented the annual report and reminded the students of the Maharishi Charak’s oath. Pro. Vice Chancellor Col. HR Rohil proposed the vote of thanks.
