How Stable Maharashtra Government Will Be? Can Three Parties Exist Amicably?

Mumbai: On Sunday, NCP leader Ajit Pawar was inducted as Deputy Chief Minister in the Maharashtra government. Eight of his supporting MLAs also took the oath of office. About a week is about to pass after this oath ceremony but the portfolios have not been allotted to the ministers of NCP.

Newly appointed ministers of NCP want their old ministries

At present, information is coming out that the newly appointed ministers of NCP want their old ministries. On the other hand, the Shinde faction is continuously pressurizing not to give the finance ministry to Ajit Pawar. In fact, the Shinde faction has been alleging that Ajit Pawar, when he was the Finance Minister, did not give proper funds to the Shiv Sena MLAs. However, this thing is also coming to the fore that portfolios will be allotted to NCP ministers before the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly begins after a week.

Uneasiness of BJP and Shiv Sena MLAs of Shinde faction also increasing

At the same time, the uneasiness of the BJP and Shiv Sena MLAs of Eknath Shinde faction is also increasing. Bachchu Kadu, who was a minister in the previous government, has also targeted the Shinde government several times regarding cabinet expansion.

Bachchu Kadu openly expressed his displeasure on development

Days after the induction of Ajit Pawar and eight other NCP MLAs in the state government, Bachchu Kadu, the Prahar Janshakti Party MLA, recently openly expressed his displeasure on the development and said that the BJP should have discussed it with all constituents of the alliance.

Kadu said that he and Shinde-led Sena MLAs were fed up of the NCP in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Uddhav Thackeray and that’s why they supported the BJP but now it seems that they made a mistake by supporting the BJP.

Shinde's MLAs also waiting to become minister

It is not that only NCP ministers are still waiting for the department. Eknath Shinde's MLAs have been waiting to become minister for the last one year. However, the dates of cabinet expansion have come to the fore many times in between but the expansion could not occur.

At present, it is being said that another cabinet expansion can be done before the monsoon session in which the MLAs of Shinde and BJP camp can be inducted.

The opposition is also continuously targeting the government regarding this matter. Earlier, BJP used to call Mahavikas Aghadi government as autorickshaw i.e. three wheeled government. When the BJP was in the opposition, it used to say that the three-party government would fall on its own. Now the same thing is being said about the present government, Shinde, BJP and NCP government.
