Madhya Pradesh Elections-2023: Jaivardhan Singh claims Congress has become stronger after Scindia's departure

The activism of the Congress leaders who are preparing for the assembly elections has increased. Meanwhile, former minister Jaivardhan Singh has targeted Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. During a special conversation with Live India News, former minister Jaivardhan Singh said that Scindia left the Congress and joined the BJP for the sake of a post.

Scindia used to get respect in Congress

Jaivardhan Singh said that Jyotiraditya Scindia was made the Union Minister between 2009 and 2014. The Congress party has given him everything. He said that after Kamal Nath, Rahul Gandhi also used to take Scindia's name in every meeting. The party had left no stone unturned to honor him and he was honored with every post.

But the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2019 went against Scindia. Perhaps Scindia could not digest it. This was the main reason why Scindia left the Congress party and joined the BJP. Jaivardhan said we were sorry that Scindia lost the Lok Sabha elections. But he left the Congress for a post.

Congress strengthened after Scindia's departure

Former Minister Jaivardhan Singh said that Congress has become stronger after Jyotiraditya Scindia left the party. This has been proved in the civic body elections. Congress won the mayoral election in Gwalior without Scindia. Congress formed the local government in Gwalior after 57 years.

Jaivardhan said that not only in Gwalior Chambal, the position of Congress is strong today in the entire state. On the other hand, when asked where the Congress was weak during Scindia's tenure, Jaivardhan Singh laughed and said that it is a matter of research.

Congress election committee will decide the ticket

In response to a question regarding distribution of tickets before the assembly elections, Jaivardhan Singh said that the Congress Election Committee will decide this. Also said that the experience of Digvijaya Singh will be useful in the elections.

Shivraj should give Rs 3000 in July

Regarding the Ladli Bahna Yojana implemented by the BJP government before the elections in Madhya Pradesh and the announcement of giving Rs 3,000 per month to women, former minister Jaivardhan Singh termed it as an election gimmick and said that if CM Shivraj has the guts, then by he should give Rs 3000 per month to the women from the month of July itself under the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
