Madhya Pradesh: EOW Raids Premises Of Food Safety Officer, Assets Worth Crores Unearthed

Jabalpur. Joint teams of EOW Jabalpur and Sagar together raided the premises of Food Safety Officer Amrish Dubey on Friday. In the search operation, the food safety officer turned out to be having assets worth crores.

600 pc more assets than income

In the preliminary investigation itself, about 600 percent more assets than income have been found. He has got a luxurious house, plot in Star Park Shatabdipuram Jabalpur. Apart from this, documents for investment in sugar mill in Narsinghpur and two plots have been found here. Apart from this, information has been found about accounts in various banks including a bank locker in Narsinghpur itself, 2 luxury cars have also been found in both the residences.

These assets unearthed

A luxurious triplex in Star Park Shatabdipuram Jabalpur worth Rs 90 LAKH, a 2400 square feet plot in Shatabdipuram itself worth Rs 65 lakh, documents for investing Rs 90 lakh in Sugar Mill in Narsinghpur, and documents for two plots in Narsinghpur have been found. Their cost is in lakhs of rupees.

Apart from this, information has been received about a bank locker in Narsinghpur and about accounts in various banks, one four wheeler has been found in both the residences.

Searching lasted from morning till late night

The joint team of EOW Sagar and EOW Jabalpur carried out search action in the residences of Jabalpur and Sagar on Friday morning, this action was taken in the matter of assets disproportionate to source of income. The action which started in the morning continued till late night.

Locker-accounts can reveal big money

Lockers and bank accounts can also turn out to be having big money. The EOW team had reached Narasimpur late in the evening. Along with opening the bank locker, information about bank accounts is being extracted, in which more revelations are expected.

Food Safety Officer Amrish Dubey was appointed in 2008. In 2011, he got the responsibility of Food Safety Officer. Currently posted in Sagar, before that he was posted in Jabalpur.

AB Singh, DSP, Jabalpur EOW said the premises of Food Safety Officer Amrish Dubey were raided. In the preliminary investigation, about 600 percent more assets than income have been found. A case of disproportionate assets has been registered. Detailed investigation of the case is going on.
