Opposition Meeting In Bengaluru: What Akhilesh, Lalu, Mehbooba Mufti, Sharad Pawar And Other Leaders Said?

Bengaluru: The meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru continued for the second day on Tuesday. During this, the leaders of the opposition parties gave their reactions.


Former Uttar Pradesh CM and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that it is necessary to save the country and the people. Akhilesh said, "Two-thirds of the people of the country are against the BJP, so this time all are united to wipe out the BJP."


Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said, "We have come together to save the country's democracy, constitution, brotherhood, diversity."


He said, "Constitutional institutions are being misused. The property of the country is being sold. Important issues are being ignored."


Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti from Jammu and Kashmir also participated in the opposition meeting.


‘Strength and diversity of Gandhi's country is being destroyed’


Mehbooba Mufti, former CM of Jammu and Kashmir, said, "The Constitution of the country is being by-passed. The strength and diversity of Gandhi's country is being destroyed. The idea of India has to be saved.”


‘Modi has to be given farewell’


Lalu Prasad Yadav also reached Bangalore. When Lalu Prasad Yadav was going for the meeting, the media asked him about his reaction.


Lalu Prasad Yadav said, "Now Narendra Modi has to be given farewell."


NCP chief Sharad Pawar has also reached this meeting. This is the first time after Ajit Pawar joining the Eknath Shinde-BJP government in Maharashtra, Sharad Pawar is attending such a big meeting of opposition parties.


During the meeting, tweets have been done from the official Twitter handle of Sharad Pawar.


Sharad Pawar said, "Today I attended the meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru. Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee, Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar, Arvind Kejriwal, Sitaram Yechury, Akhilesh Yadav attended this meeting. On this occasion, all the present leaders have decided that they will fight together and win together.”


Modi takes a jibe at opposition leaders


PM Modi has also taken a jibe at the opposition leaders who gathered in Bengaluru on Tuesday.


PM Modi said, “Two things are guaranteed at their shop. They sell the poison of casteism at their shop and do unlimited corruption. These days these people have gathered in Bengaluru."
