Madhya Pradesh: Palak Muchhal Loves Bhopal's Cuisine, Had Poha And Jalebi First Thing On Reaching City Of Lakes

Palak Muchhal, singer, lyricist and philanthropist from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was in Bhopal on Tuesday. Palak and her younger brother Palash Muchhal perform stage shows across India and abroad to raise funds for the poor children who need financial assistance for the medical treatment of heart diseases. Muchhal also performs as a playback singer for Bollywood films and other Indian film industries.

During her Bhopal visit, Palak said she is very fond of Bhopal cuisine. She said that as soon as I reached Bhopal, I had poha and jalebi first thing in the morning. Palak said she loves Bhopal's Namkeen. She said she would take it from here and also definitely try the local food during her next visit to Bhopal.

'I get a lot of love from people of Bhopal, Indore'

Talking with media, Palak said that whenever I come to Bhopal or Indore, I first smell the soil here, its smell is different, it is very unique. I love Madhya Pradesh, especially whenever I come to Bhopal and Indore, I get a lot of love from the people here.

'I feel very lucky that I got a chance to recreate  iconic song Ud Ja Kale Kauwa'

Regarding the song sung in Gadar 2, Palak told that this film is a historical film. My husband Mithun ji has given music in it. Music has been liked a lot. In such a situation, the makers gave me a chance to sing a song in my voice. Which is an iconic song Ud Ja Kale Kauwa which was also a part of Gadar 1. I feel very lucky that I got a chance to recreate this song.

'Helped in heart surgeries of 2,865 children, 400 children are on waiting list'

Palak said I help children whose parents cannot afford to get their heart surgery done. So far, I have provided assistance in heart surgeries for a total of 2,865 children. At present, about 400 children are also on the waiting list. This is just my attempt. To be honest, I think all the extra blessings I have received are probably because of this purpose. It was a small initiative when it started.

'I focus on fulfilling my responsibilities'

On the other hand, on the question of what is going on in the country, Palak said that today we are on the path of progress, there are many challenges, but there has been improvement. I focus on fulfilling the responsibilities that I have for my society as its member.
