Ayodhya: The inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will take place in the third week of January next year.
A senior member of the Ram Mandir Trust has said that the consecration of the idol of Ramlala in the Ram temple will take place between January 21 and 24 next year.
According to the trust, the exact date of inauguration will be decided after the Prime Minister Modi confirms it.
Invitation sent to PM
According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of Ram Mandir Trust, an official invitation has been sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The trust has planned to invite 25,000 Hindu religious leaders from across the country for this programme.
The trust expects that up to ten thousand people can participate in this programme.
Before the inauguration, Ram Mandir Trust will provide meal to one lakh saints and devotees daily.
The trust overseeing the Ram Mandir construction work has said 80% of the work on the ground floor of the Ram Temple was complete. The Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust also confirmed the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol will take place between January 15 and 24, 2024.
Construction of Ram Temple Phase-I will be complete by Dec 30
Construction of the Ram Temple Phase-I will be completed by December 30, 2023, chairman of the Ram Mandir Construction Committee Nripendra Mishra told media. Under Phase-I, the construction work on the ground floor, and the five pavilions would be completed.
The idol of Ram Lalla may be installed in the Ayodhya Ram Temple on January 14 or 15 when the country would celebrate Makar Sankranti. Devotees on the other hand will be allowed entry to the grand temple from January 24.
