Another Suicide Rocks Kota: Student Ends Life By Hanging, Was Preparing For NEET Through Self-study

Kota: Another suicide has rocked Rajasthan's coaching hub Kota. A student committed suicide by hanging himself in Kunhadi police station area of Kota, Rajasthan. The student was doing self study in Kota and was preparing for NEET. However, police say that he was preparing for the competition. The police conducted post-mortem of the dead body and handed it over to the family members. SI Naval Kishore told that Tanveer (20), resident of Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, was living in Kota with his father Mohammad Hussain. He was living in Kota for about one and a half years.

Reason of suicide not known

Father was a tuition teacher. His sister Tahida also lived with Tanveer. Whereas Tanveer was preparing for NEET through self study in Kota. According to the police, Tanveer hanged himself in his room in a rented house on Wednesday evening. When his sister came to know about the incident, she informed her father. After this the police reached the spot and took the body to MBS Hospital where doctors declared him dead. The police got the postmortem of the body done. According to the police, the reasons for suicide is not known. He was living on rent in a 1BHK house in Krishna Nagar, Kunhadi.

Police said that on Wednesday Tanveer's father had gone to teach tuition. Tanveer and Tahida were  at home. Tanveer told his sister in the afternoon that he would change his clothes, so he sent her out of the room. After this he closed the room from inside and hanged himself. 

Sister knocked on the door but got no response

When Tanveer did not open the door for some time, the sister knocked on the door. Called out but after getting no response, she informed the people nearby and informed her father. On receiving information, the father reached the spot and broke the door and looked inside and came to know about the incident. People informed the police after which the police also reached the spot.

According to police, no suicide note was found from the spot. In such a situation, nothing clear can be said about the reasons. The matter is being investigated. Police said that even the family members have not told anything about any tension, although it has definitely come to light that Tanveer was ill. But it is not clear whether he committed suicide because of this. 

At the same time, it is also coming to light that on Tuesday, father had scolded Tanveer regarding some issue, he had also discussed this matter with his sister. However, according to the police they do not have any information yet.
