Asian Games-2023: PM Modi Expresses Delight At Brilliant Performance Of India's Athletes And Players


Hangzhou: India have made its mark at the Asian Games-2023, excelling in specific sports. As on Saturday, 30 September, India have won 38 medals at the Asian Games 2023, 10 gold, 14 silver and 14 bronze.

 

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed delight at the brilliant performance of India's athletes and players in the Asian Games-2023 and extended his greetings and best wishes to them. 

 

PM congratulates Kartika Kumar


The Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Kartika Kumar on winning Silver Medal in the 10,000m race event at the Asian Games in Hangzhou.

The Prime Minister said in an X post;“Another moment of glory for India as Kartik Kumar, with his exceptional display of dedication and perseverance brings home the Silver Medal in the 10,000m event. Congratulations to him and my best wishes for his efforts ahead.”

PM praises Gulveer Singh


PM Narendra Modi has complimented Gulveer Singh for winning Bronze Medal in 10,000m race event at the Asian Games in Hangzhou.
 

The Prime Minister tweeted: “Compliments to our exceptional athlete Gulveer Singh who has won the Bronze Medal in 10,000m at the Asian Games. Wishing him the very best for his future endeavours. His determination will surely inspire other athletes.” 


PM celebrates Gold medal in Tennis Mixed Doubles event


The Prime Minister has congratulated the Mixed Doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale on winning Gold medal in Tennis Mixed Doubles event at Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou.
 

The Prime Minister posted on X: “What a great game by Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale. They bring back a prestigious Gold for India in Tennis Mixed Doubles. They have demonstrated remarkable team spirit and coordination. Best wishes for their future endeavours.

Modi celebrates Gold medal by Squash Men's Team


PM Modi has congratulated the Squash Men's Team of Saurav Ghosal, Abhay Singh, Harinder Sandhu and Mahesh Mangaokar on winning the Gold medal at Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou.

The Prime Minister wrote on X: “Congratulations to our Squash Men's Team of the talented Saurav Ghosal, Abhay Singh, Harinder Sandhu and Mahesh Mangaokar on a spectacular victory at the Asian Games and bringing home the coveted Gold Medal. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Kiran Baliyan for winning Bronze Medal in the Shot Put event at Asian Games.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS for winning the Silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event at the Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou.
 

The Prime Minister posted on X: “Proud of Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS for winning the Silver medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event at the Asian Games 2022. I congratulate them for their accomplishment. Their talent, dedication and teamwork are commendable and motivating for the youth of India.”
